Adding some Glitz to sad shoes is something I've seen all over the web for years. I thought I'd try it out on these sad old western boots that have been living in the corner of my closet for years.
What you'll need:
Old Boots
Modge Podge Gloss
Glitter
Paint Brush
Masking tape
Arcylic sealer (optional)
Start by cleaning off your boots with a damp cloth. Let them dry
Tape off any areas you don't want to be glitterized
and mix equal parts modge podge and glitter
I used two different glitter colors
Use your brush to paint thin layer on your boots. Wait 10 - 15 minutes before painting on the next layer.
After 3 layers my boots looked like this:
Not so pretty BUT patience is key here.
The next morning these beauties were waiting for me.
